Is it possable to make transperent tables? If so can you tell me how to make transparent tables?

thanxTry not setting the background colour.Just set your table borders to "0", and the table lines will not show in the browser display. You may still see them in your design view depending on what type of editor you're using and settings available to you.
Debbienooo.... I want to have a BGCOLOR, but i want it to be transparent so you can see the picture behind the transparent table. No can do without some mucking around with complicated PNG support, CSS or a script of some description. You are not going to be able to achieve a result that has cross platfrom functionality with much ease.

Remember no native graphic type supports true transparency other than PNG.

I am not hot on PNG just yet and would seem not a lot of people are either.Maybe this will help:
http://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp ... background

If that doesn't help you may want to try creating the transparent background layered with the picture you want to show thru,in a graphics program, export as .gif, then use the 2 combined (becomes one image) as your table background image. PNG is not yet supported by a lot of browsers.
