Transparent scrollbar?

Im not sure where this is meant to go, so i stuck it here :) but basically i was wondering is it possible to make a transparent scrollbar i.e. you can see through it?I did myself a lil' search on trusty google:
http://tifa.net/layouts/transparentscrollbars.htmlcheers, just what i needed.Always remember; "Google is your friend"Also, Mike, what site will you be using it on? I look forward to seeing what you come out with.i will be using it here (http://www.webnessa.com/~mike101/junk/main.php)
you can see where i used it, where it says testing testing etc... lolok, im not going to make a new post for this, but whats the HTML/JS (not sure which) for a pop up box?Add a target="_blank" attribute to the anchor which links to the new page. This will bring the new page up in a pop-up window.

<a href=http://www.htmlforums.com/archive/index.php/"page.htm" title="whatever" target="_blank">not that kind, i can't explain it though. when you can set a size, scrollbar.. etcthis (http://webdesign.about.com/library/weekly/aa030600c.htm) will show you how to do that :)thankyou.Mike, you killed your site in IE when you turned off scolling. half the site only shows.

and your transparent scrollbars die in other browsers.Mike, you killed your site in IE when you turned off scolling. half the site only shows.
hmm, thats strange, i use IE 6 and it all shows up how it should, what IE version are you using? and i put scroll on auto, so if its needed (i.e. if you have 800x600) it shows.. ohh that too, what resolution do you have?

edit: oh wait, i hadn't uploaded it, now scrolling is on auto.

doesn't suprise me, lol. if you can find another transparent scrollbar script that multi-browser compatible, then ill use it :DI can't scroll vertically either.

IE6.0 SP1, WinXP
800x600

It's fine with Phoenix 0.5, though.refresh now, i only just uploaded the one with auto.Ah, much better. :D
But the single-colour scrollbar is hard to see.i don't think ill be able to change that, because of the way the scrollbar script worksthat is correct Mike, I am on IE6 and 800x600 as with 90% of the web. as far as transparent scrollbars in other browsers, not going to happen today. the scrollbar trick is IE only.

curious Arctic, you say it was fine in Phoenix 0.5 before the scroll went to auto. that means Phoenix 0.5 doesn't understand scroll=no, as with mozilla1.3. so it seems that scroll=no is only IE as well. eh, things you learn, I likw tht see through scrollbar, that is pretty neat.wow, 90% really?, i thought the majority of web users, used 1024 x 768... jeeez.. was i badly mis-informed, ohh and when i posted earlier, i thought you meant the html/images were screwed.. but i misunderstood, but understand now. if you want to see the scrollbar trick, untampered with, you can go to this (http://www.neutron1.com/javascripts/tra ... _index.htm)
