transparent avatars...

I cant seeme to get transparent avatars on my forum it just puts a white background on it yes i tried .png and .gif and it dosent resize it so thats not it

Any suggestions?

its happening b/c ur avatar is bigger then required size and when it gets resize it gets white bk ground i had sme problem in my site i was doing long ago
