Anyone care to share any thoughts about what's been talked about in this blog post? You disagree with anything? Got any more good tips? I've stated this on another thread. But I am happy that they decided to update the algorhythm like this because I am tired of dealing with duplicate content and spam sites getting more attention than what hard working people are putting into their sites. I also think that if a hard working person put together a site and for some reason or another it got hit hard, its a lesson. Google is no one's friend, and people need to remember this - they will throw you to the back of the line at will, and no one should feel comfortable in any search engine. That kind of mentality breeds pride, and eventually you'll get thrown to the back of the line.

A great example of this was JC Penny. They are a HUGE corperation and just recently they ended up getting identified as using blackhat tactics to boost their rankings for various premium keywords. I'm glad that happened. I think every one of us should be glad. However, this goes to show - "legit" businesses will do whatever they can to game search engines. Let the cheaters get ramped and kicked out by Google. I don't care... its their lost. But, for those who put in their own time, dedication and passion just to drive their site in the correct route, then they earned it from hard work! Praise for everyone who did it correctly without cutting corners!
