Hi guys,
We're looking to buy a domain name owned by tradenames.com.
I placed a bid, just to "test the waters" - the BIN price on the domain was circa $8k which was outrageous considering the domain itself and the age.
Anyway, I placed a bid for $800 which is the lowest bid accepted by the system and it was accepted.
I had a confirmation email from them to say it was accepted and also a mail from Escrow.com (it definitely was escrow.com, not some phishing site or whatever) saying that a transaction was pending etc.
I'm just wondering if there are any of you out there who have dealt with tradenames.com? The only thread I could find anywhere was this (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://hosthideout.com/archive/index.php/t-17126.html">http://hosthideout.com/archive/index.php/t-17126.html</a><!-- m -->), not necessarily saying they were scammed but that they doubled the asking price.
Thanks
