I made some sites with the help of Netscape
Composer or MS Front Page. So there is no need to know the tags I suppose.

From http://ejk.cso.uiuc.edu/cgi-bin/weblint
web site I checked the page and it gave me the following:

1 line 244: IMG does not have ALT text defined ---------
244:
<a href=http://www.htmlforums.com/archive/index.php/"http://www.geocities.com/dkbhat/fathermother/album1.html">

--- IMG does not have ALT text defined.

Would me be made wise what it means and what is to be done and if one uses Netscape Communicator / or MS Front page that can give such results and the HTML could be wrong.An alt tag is a description of the image in words for people who chose not to view graphics when lookign at a web site. So instead alternative text is supplied to describe the image.

<img src=http://www.htmlforums.com/archive/index.php/"mylogo.jpg" alt="my logo" border=0>

You can define alt text for each pictures using all HTML editors and WYSIWYG editors.

Also try the http://validator.w3.org/ instead they develop HTML and other web authoring languages and they implemented the standards for the web.
