I'm not even sure I'm in the right place for this, but here goes anyway...
From what I've read, XML is the language that RSS is based on. I'm interested in adding RSS to my website so that people can subscribe to my news/blog page.
I've written the blog page in php which draws the blog entries from a database. Is there a clean way to use what I've already done to create an RSS feed?
I don't know squat about XML other than you use channel, items and item tags. So be kind!
Basically, I'm looking for some getting started "broad stroke" info. Perhaps if someone knows of a good tutorial to get me going. I've looked at several basic XML/RSS tutorials, but they mostly address how to create the items from scratch instead of how I might use php and a database, etc. etc.
