Ok, my brain just died today, so bear with me.
On this page:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://cisunix.cis.ksu.edu:12100">http://cisunix.cis.ksu.edu:12100</a><!-- m -->
It is having my top-right little div span the entire thing. It works correctly in Mozilla based browsers, but our favorite IE6 botches it. I don't want to set a specific width on it, I know that I'm just missing something.
Any help?First I'd have to say excellent job on the design!
Maybe set its width in em's? 11em seems to work decently in both browsers, for me.Thanks, compliments are always nice.
11em does seem to look acceptable, so I'll just go with that. I still wish I didn't have to set a width, but it doesn't look too bad, so ok for that.
Thanks for your help.Wish I could help more.nice layout... just a though, usually when i am advertising real browsers on my site (like your firefox button) I'll put them in with css that only IE renders, that way people who already use real browsers don't have to look at the adnever thought about it, but good idea. I'll look into that.img[id=takebacktheweb_small]{

should do the tricklol. That's interesting, Sam. Personally I'd like to see the image, even though I do use FireFox. It makes me glad I'm not the only radical Mozilla loving zealot in the Web Design and Development industry. (Okay I know you guys are "on my side," but still I'm talkin' about "out there" where you have all the tables and proprietary code laying around.)
