My personal website http://www.aurelvoiculescu.com used to be top of the Google. Now it appears on page 6. Still top in Yahoo and MSN.What should I do diiferent? You aren't alone:http://www.ozzu.com/other-google-information-and-resources/huge-thing-happening-t39456.htmlI see you already found the other topic about this. Just be patient as Vetofunk suggested. Let Google work out whatever it is they are doing.Thats what happened to us too at the last BL update. All we are wishing it is not a stable Algo changment at Google All I can say about the matter is that Google changes the rules once in a while. There does not seem to any agreement on what changes were made to the algorithm this time around. So I can only assume that several minor changes were lumped together... producing major SERP changes. If you really think you know what is wrong with your pages, then I suggest making small changes and monitoring the results. This is not the time to be trying to overhaul your site. I think some of it may be a by product of sites that link to you dropping in the ranks and therefore making their in bound links less valuable. I'm noticing that sites I linked with gained popularity and thus gave my sites a boost. Maybe check out the rankings of some of your higher incomming PR links...not just the PR but the placement of their pages for the terms they are targeting.Hi Aurel,Thank you for your note. Please be assured that your site is not currently banned or penalized by Google. We understand your concern; however, these changes are consistent with the normal fluctuations outlined in our previous email. As we add new pages and incorporate updates to existing pages, you may see changes in the ranking and inclusion of sites in our index. Because our index changes regularly, it's possible your site will regain its ranking in a few weeks. In the meantime, we hope that you will review the helpful tips posted on our site.Regards,The Google Team********It may just be a blip in their ranking.http://www.aurelvoiculescu.comJoin the club...I am looking forward to see how the next update is going to affect the rankings. Because they are getting big, and a lot of people become dependent on their services theymight shock you one day when you will have to pay or do what they say to be listed.me too I lost http://www.changeinmind.com from the listings even though it has Page Rank I am sure it will be back.Sorry guys and girls .... My site is doing the best it has ever done. I am totally thrilled with what Google has done. Jumped to top 5 in most of my keywords and it seems to be holding. It took 14 months from launch, to get here and I want to enjoy it. At least for a little while. I'm right there with you rtchar!!!I've even picked up some #1 rankings for keywords with over 11 million pages in the index. THANKS OZZU On average I am doing better despite the loss of the odd site.congrats rtchar. lol. dog tags? sweet..Thanks madmonk ... I don't know if my results are typical but it seems that things really started to improve after one year. Now it seems every update is good news and big smiles.you must be doing something right then!
