thread subscriptions?

How would I go about enabled thread subscriptions so that the users do not get e-mailed or notified they are subscribed. (I want to enable this because on the skin I use when you are subscribed to a thread you posted or a thread in which you posted in it shows up a different colour).

I want it so it will subscribe you automatically after you post in a thread or you post a thread.

Any help?

This would be 100% correct.

Simply visit your admin CP.

Then go in to Vbulletin options > Registration options & click the proper fields.

Users will either have to receive emails EVERY time they subscribe to threads or NEVER receive emails when they subscribe to threads. Their is no in between.

thanks it works on new members...how would i go about to setting the posts already posted to be subscripted? to all members?

the only reason i am doing this is because the thread itself when you view the threads in the list in a forum is a different colour so it would make it easier for members to know what thread they posted it.

so how would i go about to edit everyones setting to subscribe/etc.

I don't think you can subscribe people to posts if they are not already. However, if you change the settings like mentioned in the posts above, they will be subscribed when they post in those threads.
