Here you go,

This little modification will show the thread as postbit and reply as postbit_legacy.

Install:

First step:

Admin CP > vBulletin Options > Style & Language Settings > Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template > (NO)

Second step:

Replace the postbit template with the following:
