I'm wondering what the hell happened to him...I think he up and just quit on me... and didn't even give me a day notice or nothing... geesh!!.. <cough> lazy bastard!!... <cough> hahaha.... I'm not sure what the heck is going on but ever since I started going FULL-BLOWN css....the dang scrollbar coloring and such for overall site layout just didn't wanna work. I know it's css stuff...but they must be going through a divorce or something all the sudden...can't get along..
I dunno where he went...I even tried bringing it up like this:
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
<!--
document.write("<link rel=\"stylesheet\" href=http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/archive/index.php/\"style/style.css\">");
// -->
</script> <-I know...I know...(Bends over for a spanking) Bad! Bad!..Using some javascript..!!
Using my original css file...and this way:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href=http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/archive/index.php/"style/style.css" />
And directly into the site index file for where the body tag is and so forth... Man...is this something like ...war of the css going on here or something..cause my other original site files were getting along and stuff...and it worked...and I didn't even need to upload to FTP directory...Any suggestions of where my long lost love the scroll bar coloring method went to...?
Twistedwell it is ms only, so it's no real loss... Damn!! Damn It To Hell!!..LOL!! <opens depression pill bottle...> pops a few... I miss him already...<sigh>..(goes to buy flowers for his funeral)...dang Biotch killed him.... haha....naa...but this really does bite...and hard..<sigh>..well whatever...la la la de de do da...off to the funeral....(while walking to the funeral..looks over at the retarded blue and white scroll bar....then picks up stones to chuck at it)... U F-N RETARDED SCROLLBAR...GO TO HELL!!...awww...feels a little better now...LOL!! But I do have good news...I just saved a bunch of money on therapy sessions hahaha....
Twistedkeep in mind, the scroll bar is part of the browser's gui. It is really not yours to play with, I do not know why ms allows you to modify that as proprietary code. It will probably not make it on to any other browsers (I would not be happy if people messed up my browser's skin!)Mmm... Yeah!!! ...What's wrong with you ppls!! (ok!...now everyone learn from this ok!!)....I know I did!!..... You'll be getting quized on this stuff this upcoming Friday!!...So study study!! Ok!!... hahaha....naa....but ya do learn something everyday and everyday after that and so on and so on.. (And in closing....the scroll bar still looks stupid!! but what can you do!!)
TwistedIt's probably because you have a strict doctype. Coloring of the scrollbars doesn't work with a strict doctype. You shouldn't color 'em anyways... anyways... You know Paul Jr....I was just thinking about the doctype tag while having my smoke break.. And...I was kinda thinking about changing that or something....and was kinda thinking you'd reply with that lol...and ya did.. (this is spooky)...hehe.. The only reason I wanted to change it from the start was to keep the theme for most part....cause even though some might not use IE for browsers...most of the ppl I know visiting it here and there...(mostly forum members)...use IE.. I dunno...I'm more worried about getting them layouts you and Sam did up. And trying to get them to work for me hehe..
