So be sure to vary your strategies, anchor text, and other methods of link building so that you can get the optimum results without running into any problems. I dont agree with you.

In my opinion, vary anchor text, is not good. Unstable links about specific keywords will give google unstable website impression. I am agree with "wulaishiwo" we should not change anchor text again and again for same URL. though in some cases, some websites do use several variations of anchor texts with the same link - especially if the site is too small to have pages that targets specific keyword.

But still it's good to have a specific link distribution to each keywords for an organized link building process Its really depends on how many keywords you have and how many resources you have to target those keywords, some time you may face difficulty to rank one keyword that has high high competition. Changing anchor text is not necessary most important is link building should be natural, automated submission may effect in negative way. If you don't vary your anchor text, and build a lot of links, you WILL get penalized. Only webmasters building their own links use the same anchor text over and over - random people linking to your site don't care about your keywords, and will often link to you with anchor text like, "Check this out" or "Cool website" Varying your anchor text doesn't mean that you can't use the same one over and over. It is just basically telling you that you should use a group of them. I am sure that many of us on here are using different keywords for the same site and the same url. So it does not hurt to spread your anchor text around. One of the easiest ways to do that is in your forum posts. If you are in multiple forums, then use a different anchor in each one. Not only will you build your links, but you will build them for each one of your keywords at the same time. Well yes common sense wise you need to vary the anchor text a bit otherwise if you have 100 links, all with the same anchor text, all pointing to the same URL then that will look very un-natural. So mix the anchor text up abit and point the anchor text to a few different URLS on occassion. Also get some no follow links in there as well. All this makes the linking structure look more natural. The key to build link is by doing the directory submission, article submission, blog comments and many more. I am not in favour of varying my anchor text constantly. It must be stable for a certain period of time. For example, when you start targeting one certain keyword, make your strategy to make a handsome amount of backlinks using that anchor text. Always target that anchor text which is very low in ranks in SERP.
