Hello All,
Is their any way to test my css in browsers other than ie 6 on one computer?
Also can I have older versions of ie and netscape on one computer?there are some weird tricks, but bascially noThe only browser where there are difficulties in installing multiple versions on one computer is with Internet Explorer (some people have managed to get multiple IE versions running though so it is possible). Installing three or four different versions of Netscape and Opera along with versions of Mozilla and Firefox are no more difficult than Download ing the required version and installing it in its own folder.
I have IE6, Netscape 4, 6.2, 7.2, Opera 5,6,7,8, Mozilla 1.7, Firefox 1.0 and 1.5 all installed on the same computer.Erm, yeah i was talking about IE
You can install up to 2 different version, but it's pretty hard if i can recall, and it's mostly messing with the systemspeaking of my experience running multiple versions of ie on one computer is neither hard nor messing with the system. just check this (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.quirksmode.org/browsers/multipleie.html">http://www.quirksmode.org/browsers/multipleie.html</a><!-- m -->) page, Download the versions you like, unzip them to a folder and run the IEXPLORE.EXE in that folder.
this way i am able to check my sites in IE versions 5.01, 5.5sp2 and 6.how very nice, thanks for the link! You might want to check out <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.browsercam.com/">http://www.browsercam.com/</a><!-- m --> .more (free) services:
