I'm thinking about majoring in Computer Science. I'm starting off at a Community College, then transferring out after 2 years.
If I want to be a computer teacher...What should I do with my other two years?
-Danprobably a teaching classOn what level do you want to teach computers at? High school? College?Well, you are going to need to know the material yes, but depending on what school you teach at, if its a public school, high school, colledge, I would think you might need teacher training too. But that could change state to state and I really know nothing about that... just that my mom did all that junk. You planning on just teaching entry level computer programming, or ap computer science? Why are you posting this in the html forum though??? General would be better I think.high school.Originally posted by ItsOrreeeco
Spufi(started out trying to be a high school Math teacher) Thats what I was thinking too, he would need an education major. I didn't know that mr. spufi. Why did you quit teaching, didn't pay you enough? My mom is a teacher and she has been teaching so long that she is finally getting a decent wage... she will be forced to retire in like two years, those dirty a holes, they are diabolical. Right when they need to pay you they cut you loose!
Anything more we should know about mr. #10 (spufi)?
