Talking about Google in 8000 words

HeyI don't know if this is the right forum to ask this, but anyway, here it is: I have to make an assignment for my final year at school and I thought that Google might be a good subject as I know pretty much about it. But I'm wondering if I would be able to write about 8000 words about it, mind that I'm not going to talk about Google's Pagerank algorithm, because that's too detailled and normal people wouldn't care at all. Anyway, do you think I have a chance to manage this (8000 words, pretty much huh)? Sorry for this stupid question, but I need to choose a subject for tomorrow so I'm a bit in a hurry, that's why this question. Thanks in advance I'd say go for it.There's so much to write about Google. Both their buisiness and the searchers and SEO's hate/love relantionship towards Google. Here's a few links to get that pen running:http://dbpubs.stanford.edu:8091/diglib/ ... oogle.htmlhttp://labs.google.com/papers.htmlhttp://www.google-watch.org/http://www.google.com/intl/en/about.html Good luck to you. Thanks for the advice, I guess I'll just go for it. Those links will be very helpful too. Keeping any 'normal' person interested in ANY aspect of google for 8K words is gonna be tough, bud. As long as you structure your opening paragraph to handle several different topics, you'll be just fine. Remember the golden structure of school papers:Intro ->highlight issues 1 - nIssue 1 -> opinionate ( if allowed) and supportIssue 2 -> sameIssue n -> sameConclusion -> Restate that thesis and focus on the main points that your reader has probably phased out of memory by this far...bring em all back into light and leave that final good impression.Hi,Please go ahead with it. You can talk about it for more than 8000 words. It is supposed to be the best topic for upcoming professionals. So my suggestion would be "JUST GO AHEAD"thank youKeep it upwe all help uYa go for it!!!, you can talk about google for 18,000 words!!!, just ask my wife, to whom i was explaining it to her last night!!, she still hasn't woken up!!!?? Is it just me or is that google-watch.com guy like - SUPER paranoid? I mean.., the google cookie thing got my attention the most - but even if they are using a unique ID to learn about what you search - who cares? its not linked to your name and they aren't publishing these searches anyway. As far as I can tell they are only doing it to return more relative searches?I would like that. For instance, if I search rock music related sites in 70% of my searches - I would hope this registers with google so that when I search the rock band "Brand New" it actually returns the http://www.brandnewrock.com site instead of some "brand new shoes on sale" etc sites. I don't know - maybe I just have nothing to hide from the Google guys, but I found it helpful, not a threat.
