Is there a way to put tubular data in a <select> option for a forum.<br />

What I mean is having in the option field two rows - the first would be a name and the second would be the word "select".<br />

This way they can put in the first character of whatever item they are looking for then press "select" to add it to the list.<br />

But, I dont think the effect that you are attempting to get is worth the trouble. Perhaps you should find another way.
