in firefox, the margin between the date for matt (me) and the actual table with the pictures is a normal <br> but in IE it add's like 20 lines of break. not really sure why, and i'm not sure if its my css causing it or some improper html?nobody? this is really annoying, google hasnt helped much yet
it appears this is only an issue in IE5, which i was using at work. IE6 here on my pc displays properly, but i'd still like to know what the fix is if anyone knows.I used IE 5.2 Mac to access your page and it worked fine.FF is sticking to the standards here while IE is automatically clearing the float: left; (#leftnav). You need to have the floated div inside the content div to stop this. Imagine the floated element as an image. If you wanted it at the same level as the content div you would put it inside the content div. The same is the case here.sorry, i'm not understanding what you mean. the extra space between the h2 line and the first table with the images is the issue, not the nav bar. I did try moving the #leftnav inside the #content div, but then it leaves an empty space where the navbar was, and crams everything into the content div. i dunno, i'm confused.
