hey all,

I looked at my site today at school using netscape 4.7 and for some reason the attribute "bgcolor" does not work in any tables. is it just me or does everyone hope aol/timewarner drops off the face of the earth? How should i fix this one?

the bgcolor shows up in
tags just not
tags

thankshmmm...the bgcolor attribute works fine in Netscape 4.7 in table tags, in TR tags and in TD tags.

If by your site you mean kickazz, I looked at it with N4.7 and it looks Ok to me.

N4.7 was before the AOL aquisition of Netscape, but damn them to hades anyway! :)if you are talking about the top where you have your banner and logo, I think I might know why.

<img src=http://www.htmlforums.com/archive/index.php/"/images/small-logo.jpg" width="275" height="42" alt="welcome to kick azz stuff!">
www.kickazzstuff.com

<img src=http://www.htmlforums.com/archive/index.php/"/images/ppc3.gif" width="468" height="60" alt="ad banner, please click!">

Netscape can't render the table cell without anything in it. so put a & nbsp; in it so you fool netscape.hey thanks scoutt! Boy sometimes i really feel stupid!nah we all make them simple mistakes ;)
