Right i have designed a Kids & Teens Only links & resources Directory like the dmoz directory but kids & teens only.My site is currently pr 3 and has 260 (Cached) Backlinks.I rank well in google for quite a few terms and for even more of my search terms the only sites that are currently beating me are the Dmoz & Google Directory (i know the google directory is powered by dmoz). Example Search Term - "kids & Teens Directory" im ranked 3rd only 2 dmoz & google.Apart from getting more backlinks can anyone suggest anything else i might of missed that will help my rankings.Links in sig 4 tho`s who areThanks You are up against some heavy hitters ....I would guess if you are ranking that highly you are doing something right. You already know you need more links (probably 1000's). It wouldn't hurt to have some heavy hitters on your side as well. Get some gov, mil, and news organizations to link with you. Maybe send out some press releases.Definately an uphill battle .... GOOD LUCKthanks for the suggestions i will keep trying to get more & more links and who knows one day i could win the battle altho i dont rele mind being ranked 3rd to dmoz & google ........................................... for the time being i just checked them both out and for the kids & teens part of there directory they have around 800 - 900 backlinks so really not as many as i would of though.i gotta another link today pr 4 which is currently higher then my pr so along with the other pr4 + 5 sites i currently have linking to me i should start to get a raise in traffic.maybe my site will be the directory of 2006/2007?the kids & teens directory can now be found @ http://www.directory.just-4-teens.com/ feel free to add your site.
