I am looking for new ways to put fresh content on my website. I have a product selling site and could use some new ideas. I have put product manuals and customer comments on the site. I would like to use product reviews but run into copyright problems. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks everyone Since you have a product, create a new content for it. Tell what the products all about and what are the benefits of your product. You could try running your blog from the site too. It all depends on what image you are attempting to project. If you need content must read some information about product and write your own reviews about the subject. It's time consuming but in this way you will have unique content for your pages, and this is most important thing for Google. You can creat a blog and write something about your products on it,just like how to use, some skills. Think of ways or situations where your product can be very useful. Show it to potential customers that they NEED the product. Don't just up-sell, consider their concerns and address them. Do a personal approach when presenting a product. How would product reviews run into copyright problems?
They are all generated by the customers, IMO.
write any related things about the products.. just make sure its fresh and interesting.. user digs it.. If you know a server side language, you could always try automating a little content, such as automatically displaying an rss feed. These can be very nice because they don't often take up that much room, but help shows the site is updated often.
Theres always hiring a copywriter as well. I've used them before, and with a little work you can find someone willing to work at 1.6 cents a word.
