I'm not sure where to post this, so apologies in advance if this is the wrong forum.

I am suddenly having weird HTML and javascript errors popping up on my website.
I am running Joomla 1.0.11. The website frontend and administrative backend have been running smoothly. I have not installed any new components or made any changes to the system files in my public_html directory.

All of a sudden, the website started showing javascript errors on the frontend and backend.

On the front end, the problems appear only in the website forum (Joomlaboard 1.1.2). Users cannot view the last 2-3 topics in a thread longer than 10 posts. I've tried changing the Joomlaboard settings so that the number of posts displayed is different, but no change. Also, users are not able to post new topics. When they hit the "New Topic" button, some HTML code appears where the text box should be.

In the administrative backend, there are even more problems. Certain admin menu screens do not load completely. If I try to open one, it loads 75% of the way, then stops. It's like someone chopped off the botton 25% of the page. A few times, there has been a snippet of HTML code, such as <img src=http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/lofiversion/index.php/"pathtosomething but that is also cut off. I've tried unpublishing components and modules, but some of the administrative buttons don't work. When I click on them, I just get a Javascript error and nothing happens.

Here are some of the Javascript errors I'm getting:

CODE

Error: document.adminForm.task has no properties
Source File: http://www.mywebsite.org/includes/js/joomla.javascript.js
Line: 349

CODE

Error: document.adminForm.hidemainmenu has no properties
Source File: http://www.mywebsite.org/includes/js/joomla.javascript.js
Line: 326

Please help! I have no idea why this is happening, since I haven't made any changes to any of the system files or components.

THANKS!!!!!!!

Thanks, I do have a ticket open now. I believe the plan is to move my site to a new server.

But, a user just emailed me this morning saying that when he opened up the webpage, his anti-virus program detected a virus on the website. I've asked him to send details of the virus if he can. Is TCH aware of this? Is this related to the javascript errors, and the reason I'm getting switched to another server?
