Several people were asking about how to get the site indexed faster. In my mind, the only thing we can do is manually submit your site into Google, and then Google will index your site. To what extent does it help to send links to many other sites? After all, sending out links are a lot of work. So if submitting to SE is not too much slower than sending out many links, why can't we just submit to SE and then wait for the SE to index? Does anyone have a solid data of how long does google index a site after it's submitted? Thanks. Submit URL to SE is just wasting times. SE technology is developing everyday, they are smart enough to crawl your site. SE submission and those meta tag strategy only being used 10 years ago Quote: Originally Posted by lifeplayer Submit URL to SE is just wasting times. Say if there's a site that's newly published. If that site doesn't do SEO (build lots of backlinks), how's the SE going to index the new site? I thought the only way, or at least the most secure way is to submit to SE. Anyone else has an opinion? as i read everywhere that we have to first submit to Google manually and whenever our website is crawled by Google then we must move on to off page practices. SE submission is not that much effective and I think as lifeplayer said it is wasting of time. If your site is crawled once that means SE already knows about your site. I think better way is submit your sitemap to webmaster tools... I agree with you xcznmx21 . If you submit directly to Search Engines like Google, Bing our site will index soon. Normally, Google takes 4 weeks to index after your submission. search engine submission is not a good idea for indexing web pages fast the most important thing for it is content updating and linking Who says that search engine submission is time wasting. It only takes 2 minutes to submit your site to google. If you don't submit your site to google then you may be consider a web spammer. I have sites set up in Godaddy and Hostgator. For some reason, my Hostgator blogs get indexed in a day. No links, no submission, nothing. Godaddy, takes about 2-4 days.
Anyway, I use Article Marketing Robot and do an article blast. Usually the site re-indexes or updates it cache within an hour or so. There is no need to submit your website to Google; their spiders will find it - and should find it relatively quickly. If you want to make the initial process go a little bit faster, you can upload your sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools. However, you certainly aren't required to do so - and you definitely won't be labeled a spammer if you don't!! Google said that "is no way to make a site to be indexed when you want". The site submission cannot speed up the indexing of the site. It's better to have just few powerful links to the site. It will be indexed faster than 10 sitemap submissions. I believe you should at least manually submit your website to the top 15-25 search engines and also submit to at least 10 directories of reputation. They control over 90% of the market.Other search engines will pick your website from there. Continuous link building is also important in this aspect. Remember to be patient and use analytical tools to track the number of pages you have indexed. I will also suggest you submit sitemaps to Google and the rest of the top SE's. What i have mentioned above ensures that your website is found and indexed. How fast your site gets indexed will depend on the number of pages,in-links,quality and relevancy. In my own experiences, building backlinks would work better than submitting to search engines for indexing purpose. Also, having backlinks from high PR(above 6) sources would guarantee prompt indexing within 48 hours but SE submitting would be guarantee for anything, IMO.
all the best, hello submitting web site to Google and get indexed it is long process some times it may take 2,3 months to index. The far better idea to index your web site fast is
