Submit form - Text message.

Just wondered whether it's possible and whether it's a difficult task. All I want is a form that when the message is submitted it is sent directly to my mobile phone in the form of a text message. This would be for a private website so that my family can get in touch with me even though they don't own a mobile phone. If you can only point me in the general direction (eg tutorials etc) of how this could be achieved I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks. :)You need to look for some sort of portal site that allows text message to be sent through it.

The forms on your site aren't the difficult part, it's the supply of text messaging service that will be harder to find. And, how is it going to be paid for?

Personal messaging systems like ICQ used to link to SMS systems; I don't know if they still do.

Have you tried Google yet?http://www.ipipi.com/
and it also depends on the messanger your using for your phone. i could probably swcroung up a code somewhere, just tell me which one. ill see what i can do.
AIM, MSN, ICQ, Yahoo!??
i know yahoo sound wierd but i actually seen a phone with yahoo in it.my cell phone accepts text messages, and it has an email address assigned to it.... so any email program can reach me (I use my cell phone as a pager for work). I believe this all has to do with the options of your cell phone provider. Thanks for everyones input so far, I realise it is now much harder than I first thought, however, I just came across this in google:
These scripts look great and are just what I was looking for, however when I tested them all of them said "Number cannot start with 0" so I tried my number with my international code in front (44) but then it said "Number must be 10 digits, do not start with international code". Can anyone help from here?UK mobile numbers are all like:

077xx xxxxxx or 078xx xxxxxx or 079xx xxxxxx

If you take the leading zero away, they are all ten digits long.Having looked at that site, I notice they want only US and Canada phone numbers in the demo.

Their numbers are in the form x1x.xxx.xxxx or x0x.xxx.xxxx and are all ten digits.

I don't think that host will allow SMS to be sent to UK numbers.you're right, I didn't notice that, curse the UK.
