Hi all,

A couple of weeks ago I wrote to this forum as I needed help with a submit form, you guys said that I have to have my submit form on the web and make sure my hosting company supports php, well I have done all this.

My site is athere (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.richsolutions.co.uk/">http://www.richsolutions.co.uk/</a><!-- m -->)

What I want is that when the user clicks on the submit button the message and the other fields are sent to my outlook express.

Could someone help please?

Thankyou

Lofttyi have the script for that. Should work, do you have msn messenger, if so send me a message on <!-- e --><a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a><!-- e --> if not email me at <!-- e --><a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a><!-- e -->, i'll customize the script and send it to you.Hi Danga,

I have sent you an email with the file inside of it.

Thanks

LofttyHi, recived your email. Should be easy enough to handle. Just ell me the following.

Subject of email yuo will recieve
Address email will go to
Address of thank you page (optional)Subject = Support

Email address = <!-- e --><a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a><!-- e -->

for the link to the thankyou page just highlight where that has to go and I can get add that in later.

Thanks

LofttyOk, done, I drew it up and customized it for you.

but, first, let me explain a little aboutthe options.

Now, in txtmailer.php the threee options you see on top are all yor should edit. Those are the default values.

Now, in form.html just on the top of the form tag there are 3 hidden fields, subj, and a couple of other clearly market ones, those will override the options in teh txtmailer.php.
this is useful if you have many forms, which havve different subjects and so on.

At the bottom of the form there is also a hidden field called email. this is the address it will come from. I have set teh value to sdomething reasonable. but you can change it.

that's about all to it.

The files are in the attachement. In the following post.the files are in the attachement. just upload them to your webserver, and tehy will work fine.Thanks Gamini,

I have tried it out and got a couple of questions.

I keep getting a email sent to me saying

Now where I have hosted my site I have set so that when someone emails <!-- e --><a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a><!-- e --> they get a email back saying thankyou.

Is that page ment to send an email back to the specified address given?

Thanks Again

LofttyHi, I ain't exactyl a php expert, but i have a working script whic redirects them to a thanks page, but doesn't send a thanks email. Would yuo like that script. it's tried and tested.Hi,

Yes that would be most kind.

Is it possible to have it so that an email saying thankyou gets sent and the page gets redirected to the thankyou page?

Kind regards

Loffty
