Strange happenings on Google

Hello everyone! I'm trying to figure out what is going on with my site and the listings that were showing up in Google. For about 1 month, my site, http://www.hairresources.com was showing up in both Google and Yahoo for lots of my keyword phrases I concentrated on and even some that I wasn't concentrating on. (By the way, is Yahoo still showing results from Google or has that changed?) Then suddenly, the end of September, all of those listings disappeared, and now the only thing that shows up when you search for the domain is an entry with the title being the url: http://www.hairresources.com with no description or anything. Why would google index sites this way? Some of the pages of my site are created dynamically and google actually shows the title of the page with the url and the ? in it. I have Titles, descriptions and keyword metatags on every page of my site. Can anyone see anything that is wrong that I need to fix? I realize that I don't have any incoming links yet, and that will affect the way the site is ranked, but why would I show up high in rankings for a whole month and then suddenly disappear? Any help of suggestions would be greatly appreciated.ThanksPdrodriguezhttp://www.hairresources.comWhen you first submit a site Google gives it a temporary 'boost' in the search rankings until it updates its backlinks. At the end of September, around the 23rd, Google did an update and its possible that after this update, since your site didn't get any backlinks, that your search results rankings are subsequently lower.Basically, Google is now giving you pagerank solely on your backlinks, without the initial boost, so your rankings should improve come the end of October again.Dr. Nick, Thanks for the explanation. That certainly makes some sense. But if I don't have any backlinks at the end of October, are you saying that the rankings will still increase? I have several backlinks lined up, but they are from low pr pages (less than 4). I still can't figure out why the indexed pages do not have my title/description, but have only the url, http://www....... as the title with no description. In September the entire title, description that I wrote was showing up.Thanks again!!!pdrodriguezhttp://www.hairresources.comPerhaps this will help - I don't know -- I'm still learning how to deal with Google myself, but I got the distinct feeling that there was at least one redirect involved when I clicked the link you posted in your original thread. I couldn't catch it quick enough to know for sure. (I'm not sure Google likes redirects much)There are no redirects on the site. Maybe I have too many photos on the pages and the load time is messing things up somehow. What's weird is I don't notice any other listings indexed that way for any search that I do on Google.
