Hi, I'm new to this web design lark, and have posted on here before and managed to sort the problem, but now I seem to have another one!<br />

Basically, I have put in a javascript for a pop up window and when the pop-up window is opened then closed and the user clicks on a link to another page within the site, the whole new page refreshes and has to reload.<br />
<br />
I know the use of tables is bad, but as I can't use CSS very well 'cos I'm still learning. I've designed it such that the top and bottom images are common images and only need to load once throughout the site. But they just end up reloading after the pop-ups are selected and it takes up too much time.<br />

Is there any way I can stop the refresh by forcing the images to stay in cache or something?<br />

The site is here - I know there are probably better ways to design this site, but this is all I know about web design so far!.. just open the pop-up and click on a base link afterwards to see the problem.<br />

There is an animated .gif which will be index.html and redirect to the 'about us' page. The webspace I have put the site up on is just for testing anyway!
