Could any help me out here. I have the cd for ASP.NET Beta 2, Do I need to install it on the server or on clinet that will do the programming? Also when I put the cd in, it has a link that saids server setup, is that what I want?<BR><BR>Thanks<BR><BR>sorry for the stupid questionThe ASP.NET bits need to be installed on the Web server you are using (which needs to be running either Windows 2000 or WinXP). You can develop ASP.NET Web pages via a client computer and upload them to the Web server without installing the .NET Framework (that's what's on that CD you have) on the client. You only need the Framework installed on the machine that actually processes and runs the ASP.NET Web paegs (i.e., the Web server). hth!
