SQL7, FreeTDS and UniqueIdentifiers

Hi,

We have an SQL7 database with
UniqueIdentifier fields. I have setup
a linux box with PHP4, and FreeTDS but
the uniqueidentifiers are coming back
as 0xabc hex codes, which means I can't
put them back in as GUID's to match
against.

How do/Can I get round this problem?
