My name is Tom, and I have decided to put Sports Thunder, <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.sportsthunder.com">http://www.sportsthunder.com</a><!-- m -->, up for auction. I know I am new here, but I am an active member of several other large forums, such as NamePros, and have a proven reputation there. Sports Thunder is a sports forum, covering all the major sports. Currently, there are 70 users, with 8937 posts, and 8117 threads. However, these numbers are a bit misleading, because of a mod I have installed which automatically posts sports news from Yahoo via an RSS feed. If you take out the news posts, the total is a little over 1000 posts. The site has been up since February, and gets about 950 unique and 2000 hits on average per month. I have posted screenshots of the stats below. The site does not earn much revenue, but does make a few cents through Adsense. Included the sale is the domain, registered at NameCheap until January, 2006, the forum, the database, and all files associated with the forum including many mods installed on the phpBB software. Free hosting will be provided for one month to the winning buyer to allow time for the transfer of the site. The reason I am selling is because I simply do not have the time to continue to develop and promote Sports Thunder. It has great potential, and with a little work, I am sure most of the current members would come back and post as active members. This auction is posted at other forums as well, but I will keep you updated with the current bid price. All payments are through PayPal, and must be made with 48 hours of my accepting of your bid.
