spammer bots HELP

I am having a lot of trouble with spammer bots.
I am using vb 3.7.2.
Is there any loophole or problem with this version or what should I do to block these spammer bot attacks?
I am really fedup and I delete more than 100 posts everyday.
Please please help me.

How to improve defence?

Its war between me and spammers now. X((
