Hi,
Any ideas why on firefox the spaces on this page
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://test.apc-compunet.co.uk/computest/main/signup/">http://test.apc-compunet.co.uk/computest/main/signup/</a><!-- m -->
are all small and on IE they are huge.
If you click on confirm without filling anything in you will get a list of fields that havn't been filled in.
Why is there such a bit gap on ie?
feel free to look at my code
Thanks
AdamMaybe I'm missing something but they look the same to me.I did't notice anything out of the ordinary, it looks pretty similar in both browsers. If you click confirm without actually inputting anything a box comes to the top of it.
The space between them is widley different between firefox and ie.
can you see why?
Thanks
k0r54There is only a small gap between the header and the list of errors. yes but in IE the space between the errors and the reg form is bigger?<form method="post" action="?val=1" style="margin:0;">
and
<ul class='errortext' style="margin-top:0;">ahh
Thank you
p.s only the form margin 0 was needed.
Thanks
AdamThe gap above the list was different!
btw this is only a small step away from using a transparent gif: <div id='reg_spacer'></div>, margin???what do you mean sorry use a transparent gif to fill the spacer rather than a div?
What would that achieve???
Thanks
AdamI mean it's really no better than a gif, use a margin on the pervious element
