Something About Domain Names You Should Know..

Hi Folks,

Very seldom will I purchase a domain name from someone. Usually I develop my own, and it's not uncommon for me to come up with 50-100 viable names in the span of an hour or two.

Here's an interesting bit of information I ran across yesterday, the as far as I'm concerned, cements my thoughts about picking domain names.

Source: WebProNews.com

"The hyphenated version of a domain name is the more
search engine friendly of the two. Some engines can
only read hyphenated urls, and recognize the key phrases
within them, but will only see the un-hyphenated version
as a jumble of letters. Having key words within a domain
name may increase the relevancy "score" on some search engines.
Ideally your domain name will consist of, or fully contain,
your primary key phrase."

Having sold a number of hyphenated domains for some SERIOUS cash, I was glad to see someone else agrees. :)
