i have one new forum but i don't know how to install or upload any hack plugin or template...

if i want to disable or enable users permission like he can view some member profile or can send pm or can post so how can i do this...

and how can i see that what member has writin in pm which ha has sended to other member or moderator...

if u dont know this thigs how u install it lol..
any way root means basic and first path of ur FTP..
u can see the images etc,, in FTP play around with user group permissions for other questions answers.
 
you need a program like cuteftp and fill in a address like

ftp://ftp.mydomain.com
and fill in your username and password then you can connect to upload the files
 
You won't have a folder called "Root". It has a similar structure to your PC if you want to think of it that way. For example c:\ is the root folder on your pc. Your server has a similar structure, http://www.yourdomain.com/ is the root folder on your domain. Generally speaking, the absolute root on your server will look something like /home/username/public_html/. Some ftp clients will connect directly to the "/" folder but often they will connect to the folder that contains the public_html folder which for your purposes is your root folder on your server. So, if you clicked on public_html folder, you would be in the root folder on your server.
