Hi guys,
just need some advice on how to lay out this page i am working on. it is a clothes page and all the items will be clickable.
would i use one image and div and one image map like in fig 1
or would i use 9 different pics and div's and image maps like in fig 2?
just wanna get it right before i get to work! hope i explained my self cleary if not just ask me anything.
anyone had any experiance with this type of layout or anyone used it before?
thanks guysIt would be easiest to build up the page if you use one large image.
then use will only have to use 1 image-map and you do not have to position several images together.
if you should use an image-map; depends on what form the clickable area have
if it is a square area around the clothing, then i will suggest that you use transparent "overlay-divs" with onclick=""
if it should follow the outlines of the clothing then you have to use an image-map.Thanks for your reply Lerura,
yeah the clickable area will follow the outlines of the clothes so will have to use the image map.
will use one big image just worried about loading time etc but i think it shall be fine!
will post again if have any other problems,
Thanks
