Can someone PLEAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEE help, noone seems to be answering me I keep getting the following error . . . .
'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql
.sock' (111)'
No matter what I do I STILL get it, when I actually try and go into /var/lib/mysql/ and find the mysql.sock, I can plainly see its not there (this is also shown by the error code (111))
I have checked that Mysqld is running, and it is.
Is it just a case of extracting a new copy of mysql.sock and placing it in /var/lib/mysql ? if so how do I do this ?
