Hi, v7n members,
I have link and blogpost business. my customers complains there are so many outbound links in my site. i checked using seoquake, that my outbound links come from social networks icon in each post because i put icon twitter, facebook, digg, stumbleupon on each post.
is it true that the social network icon will increase outbound links ?
How can we use social network icon wisely to reduce outbound links ?
thank you in advance for your answers If you would place outbound links then they would be counted.
Not that all outbound links are bad. Linking to related authority websites is recommended. Quote: Originally Posted by technologift Hi, v7n members,

thank you in advance for your answers Using sharing button is good for marketing and getting backlink when someone share your post. Even this forum is using it.
I will suggest you to use a sharing button from addthis.com and check if links can be made NOFOLLOW . Nofollow link will not be counted as external link & will not affect your ranking. Ya, I fully agree with this. Sharing button allows your visitors to share about your product or services throughout the network. Its really a valid outbound link since they are from quality websites. So keep going!!!! I don't think outbound links is a problem.. Google doesn't care about it. Explain to him where those outbound links are coming from, and that they cant do harm in any way, but instead they offer nice benefit to your client's website. I actually prefer having links to social bookmarking/networking sites on every blog post I have. The more people bookmark/share your blog post, the higher the chance you'll get more visitors, so they're not bad at all. But I do limit the icons on my blog posts because not all of them can drive you traffic. If you're irritate on your social networking/bookmarking icons, I guess you could use "nofollow" on them. Sharing Button wont help anyone as Google doesnot understand that. Read Matt Cutts article on pagerank sculpting. Those links are reducing the pagerank you pass onto your own content.
What I would suggest doing is limiting the amount of social networking websites you link out too. Maybe only link out to the big ones. Quote: Originally Posted by technologift Hi, v7n members,

thank you in advance for your answers These outbound links should not cause any problems or issues at all. You can continue using them as these are high authority websites. If you still feel you should not have these outbound links, you could make them NO FOLLOW links.
