Social Group Problems!

I am having a few issues with Social Groups on vBulletin 3.8.2 (vbTeam edition of course). When a user makes a new social group the image/icon will not display in there profiles, on the group page or any other part of the board, I have chmod the folder to 777 and is still not working.

When a user is saving the image they receive an error (find below!)

CHMOD the folder /tmp to 777 and try again.

I think the problem is thumbnails when i checked my database there was no thumb created.
