I had finally found a tool which could submit your site to multiple social bookmarking sites when someone told me you should always change the tags and description you use while bookmarking a site. They said something about duplicate content or something.... I don't see how this would negatively affect your site as aren't you just trying to get a backlink for seo. Could someone please explain if you should or should not changing the tags and description of you use while social bookmarking and why?

20-30 blasts on social networking sites exactly the same have as much chance coming up in the search results as blasting the same article to a bunch of article sites.
The search engines are going to pick the most relevant finds when someone does a search then pick the one they think is the best to put in the search results presented.
It is about as effective as putting the same classified ad on all the classified ad sites you submit to. Thanks does anyone else have an opinion I think you should use different title and description for each submission of the same page to each social bookmarking site. By doing that each of those submission will stand a better chance of ranking their own. If you use different title and description than Google give more priority your ranking in SERP's. If you have duplicate content there are chances that Google will not find those links. you can change it or even not, there is no harm in submitting your web page into several social bookmarking sites with the same title or tags, just like in submitting your articles in different article directories... you won't be penalize in doing that. For every submission we need to give unique description and better do manual submission and dont go for any tools. Search engines always like fresh content .So its better to use change description because it will be risky using same description again and again and it will not be beneficial for your website. be very careful of duplicate content It's not necessary but better if you change your descriptions once a month.. But i am agree with new tags and description for every bookmarking because Search Engines like to crawl fresh contents , Else you bookmarking not crawled by Search engines and it will became useless for you. If you use different title and description than Google give more priority. Google only support good content and also innovative.. Not only social bookmarking whatever off page work content is very important.. Its better but i dont feel its necessary always Any one tool not suitable for your site because in the social bookmarking title is different of every site so Google do not like this way this called black hat technique. I think it will help target different audiences and not just for SEO purposes.
