i tried exchaging link but he says "not sitewide link"
what do they mean when they say sitewide and not sitewide links?
for example, where i should put his link as i'm using wordpress? Sitewide = on every page of the site
Not Sitewide = they want it on a specific page
Depending on how your Wordpress theme is built,
If you put a link in your sidebar or footer file the link will be sitewide.
Ask them what they specifically want. It might be better NOT to have a sitewide link so it's not something I would worry about if I were you. I've had a site disappear off the top 1000 listings in Google for getting a site wide link pointed to a new site. Generally, the more links the better, just be careful, especially if it's a new site. It's better if it's not sitewide becuse you can pick the right page in which the content in also related to your site. Absolutely right. Sitewide links are early indicators for unsavory linking techniques. Meaning these are the common types of links you buy. It may be a way to say to Google, "Hey! Look at me! I'm buying links!!" So be careful with sitewides. I have also heard (and this is nothing more than just a rumor at best) that Google treats sidewide links like forum signature links..
