On the other hand, sitemaps are lists of urls and web pages of your website, you submit these sitemaps to help search engines crawl and index your site.
Question, do I still need to submit a sitemap of my blog if I deleted any web pages in my site? Or do sitemaps only apply to websites other than blogs? The main purpose of a sitemap is to help search engines in indexing all web pages of a website. If a website;s all pages have been indexed without a sitemap then that website may not need a sitemap.
Instead of a sitemap, You can create few backlinks for a web page to get crawled and indexed by a search engine.
