Till August 13, 2007, I did have a decent SERP in Google, but the next morning all of the sites disappeared from the top places. No where in the top 20..or even top 40. Even the blog results disappeared overnight. What could be the reason? That was the issue when Google Webmaster tool reported that the site has been crawled on Aug8. But today when i checked out the same, the last crawled date was on Aug13. Interestingly from Aug13th onwards, I'm facing this problem. It may be on Aug6th or so ... I've changed the images in my site something like from superaffiliatehandbook.jpg to superaffiliatehandbook-affiliate-marketing-ebook-graphic.jpg . Is this anything to do with the fall of SERP? Except this change i've nothing added or deleted. Please help me in this regard.sorry my friend, i dont know, i was reading last night (your morning) that google had completed part of the PR updated and seemed they had paused it, most think to change their algorithm.Personally, I dislike how they dont really tell you much about what they are doing, or what changes are coming, but i guess its to stop spammers. the problem is that medium sized companies who have websites, dont spend all day every day working on SEO.But in regards to your post, I would maby (and I say maybe because I dont know)Try changing your sitemap a little and re submittingAdding some fresh info maby rss feed if you dont have oneWaiting patiently for what ever is happening to stop happending and for things to go back to normal.Thanx for your suggestion. Some say that i should add a regular content. It is not possible to add the content in my site as it is a review program. The other option is to add the content via BLOG. I do have a blog with the url say....http://www.example.com/blog . Is it better to add the content to it writing regular posts?Orelse Do I need to stat a new blog and add content there?I dont really like the idea of making a blog just for the sake of making a blog. I just dont think it will get enough attention info etc, no one wants to come and read a blog that you set up just to increase your traffic. It has to hold some benefit to them. Why cant you add new reviews to your site? that is considered new content
