Hi folks,
I have a site and have finished on page optimization before 8 months also created site map. I am not getting good traffic. Now i am planning to change meta title, description of home page. Will it affect my site? After changing meta datas, Do i need to generate site map again and submit on search engines? Please unveil your thoughts here...
Thanks in Advance. I'm assuming you'll be changing the meta description for the homepage. This would not require you to make a new sitemap and submit. However i hope you know that 'meta description' has whatsoever no influence on SEO.
It does show up on the serps describing your site but the presence of a keyword does in no way help to rank better, so its just something you may want your potential visitor to read so as to get a brief idea about your site before visiting through the search engines.
Mind telling on which platform your site is working, i.e. Wordpress, Joomla, etc.. or is it custom?
majamates dot come is the site. You can visit it and suggest. If you change your domain URL then you have to change te sitemap other wise its not recommended. I don't think that there is any effect if you also change your site url then site map must be change other wise no need..I m also facing same prob any good information plz share
