I'm trying to put together a site for a friend's church. What the ultimate goal would be is, for the church members/pastor to be able to login to a cms (which would be in a subfolder, site.com/cms/ ), use an editor like htmlarea, and only be able to edit things inside the <body> tags. then create rss feeds for the seperate pages inside the cms. once that is setup, i would design a site (on the root of the host) like normal, so that i could have complete control over everything, and just insert the rss feeds from the cms. hopefully that made sense.
the question is, firstly, does that make sense to do that? and secondly, am i over complicating things?
