hi people, can anyone help me find out how to create an image in the background of my site, ive got my site layout and everything. i need it to be visible out side of areas where i have information but also be visible around the sides like down the columns where my links are. A good site that demonstrates what im trying to do is

http://www.ffmages.net/layout.php

as you can see the water in the background looks great and doesnt interfere with text except links down the side which with this site only makes it look better, can someone tell me how to do it or give me a link so i can read up on it and learn how to do it myself. Any help would be really great.one way of doing it would be to use table and frontpage and crop the images and put them into sections on the tables until everything is in the right place

thats the only help im sorry, but if i do find some other useful information i will report back

Joethanks anyway joe, if ya find any more information i will be very gracious for the effort you have put in.Don't feel bad, I can't get background images to work either. Maybe if somebody would put the html code they use or something it would help us.use css. check it out at www.w3schools.com

that is all they did.

all you guys have to do is look at the source code for a website and see where the background is coming form, eithe rcss ot html. not very hard.
