What hacks do you have installed. It if FAR more likely that one of them is old and needs to be updated than vBulletin being the culprit.
When was the last time you ran a virus scanner on your PC.
Change your FTP password!

You need to do the following:
1:your pass to be strong (#$(&%&(#)&
2:config.php search for UNDELETABLE / UNALTERABLE USERS id->1 for you
3:now to hide admincp and modcp/search PATH TO ADMIN & MODERATOR CONTROL PANELS(in config.php)
4:$config['Misc']['admincpdir'] = 'what you want';
$config['Misc']['modcpdir'] = 'what you want';
5:go ftp and change, as you have already called admincp and mod
6:instal vB Dummy ACP
7:all folders 755 files 644
8:Always use vBulletin with keygen
