Simple question on <!--comment--> use in XML docs...

For some reason after reading the W3C spec on XML 1.0 I'm still not satisfied100% that it is valid to include nested comments (<!--These kinds of comments-->)inXML documents... by this I would mean the following:<Tag><!--Can I put a comment line just any old place, so long as not includedwithin tag brackets--><sub-tag>?Any info appreciated!P
