Simple download question

I'm trying to make a .log file Download <!--more--> automatically. the problem is that it keeps opening in the web browser. Can anyone help this poor little web guy out?<!--content-->a log file... what is it? text? Just name it as .zip and it should prompt for Download <!--more-->.<!--content-->it might be that the server can't Download <!--more--> it as it is not configured right. it might think it is a text file or something. or your browser is configured to open log files like a text file too.<!--content-->
