One of the Real Estate sites that I'm managing (http://c21myrtlebeach.com) has PR5 and I never could see any PR on internal pages because of the complicated ASPx.Net programming + iFraming. Also, because of the very same reason we didn't have too many pages indexed and there was created cloacking page to represent all the links (like site map) in a way that bots would read them. I don't know if we can count it as cloacking,I think in some way yes, but it doesn't carry misrepresentation and we don't want that.Closer to the point. Long time ago I started promoting my site without www. and it works fine, but I didn't notice that this page (cloacking page - further SEpage) has links to the internal pages with www. and when I checked my internal pages with the PR tool (http://www.top25web.com/pagerank.php) they all have PR 3 throughout the site - that's kind of good because before I didn't even have all those pages indexed. Now, I want to change all those links on the SEpage going to no the www. domain, but to /the page.aspx this way it will be figuring www or no www automatically. Plus, I want to change all the links that I have on my other pages to the same kind of links the SEpage has. After I done with that I hope that PR3 will be given to no www pages as well - what do you guys think on this matter? My www homegage has PR 4 and none www PR5 but www internal pages have PR3 and none www PR0 Also, you won't see PR on internal pages if you just go to the site (actually people in CA and AZ can see PR through the Googlebar on my site, but I don't see it, plus the link structure sould be exactly the same as on SEpage ).Here is google's cache of my homepagehttp://216.239.51.104/search?q=cache:lq ... n&ie=UTF-8if you click on those links you will see PR3 for a bit of a second then iFrame loads up and its gone, but you can use http://www.top25web.com/pagerank.php tool to see the PR also.I just think if I change all the links the way I described it can help me to get higher PR with new links and it will make more sense on none www promotion. All my search results come up with none www.Would like to hear your ideas. THanks a lot.Does anyone know for sure if PR of the same site is being shared between www and none www? My guess if I eliminate www links from the site everything supposed to be ok.www and no www count as seperate pages. same is true for "index.html/.php/etc"try to always use the same one if you canyeah, I know that. I guess I answered on my question myself inprevious message. I just don't know if I can lose PR if make complete switch to one type of links or not.Morning,i think that you might want to implement 301 redirects to all of the lower PR pages, this can be done via an .htacces redirect, I have seen PR's actually raise when the 301's are enabled. It will also be a good move because the nature of the content [www vs. non www] will be the same.. this should hold the PR increase [if one is passed on]I have seen passed PR from 301's increase and then decrease when the next update rolls along due to content differences etc, Cheers!justinhttp://www.realstock.caUse google webmaster tool. Verify the site is yours and define the option to treat www and non-www as the same.
