I have been asked to build an Intranet for our company. The only thing is that I am not a Web developer.
I have bought dreamweaver, so that sorts out the HTML side. I have also bought a PHP book(PHP4 A Beginners Guide). so far so good.
I have mastered forms and php form handlers for inserting data into a mysql database but this is the limit to my knowledge at the moment.
I am required to make it possible for people to upload files to an area on disk so that they can be viewed and modified later. I am able to upload a file to an area on disk and then provide a link to the folder so that the contents is displayed and the files can be read. How can I tidy this process up....... any Ideas?
